The new federation -- the first Filipino umbrella organization in Germany --- celebrated its formation through an Induction Ball held at the Panorama Hotel in Hamburg last 21 August 2010.

Frankfurt am Main, 20 August 2010 -  As the new head of the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main, Consul General Maria Cleofe R. Natividad on 20 August 2010 called on Mr. Karlheinz Bührmann, President of the City Parliament of Frankfurt am Main, who is in charge of matters relating to the consular corps.

Frankfurt am Main, 20 August 2010 - The “soft” opening of the new office of the Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, took place on 20 August 2010 in simple and solemn ceremonies attended by members of the Filipino community.

The Philippine Embassy wishes to inform all  Filipinos that effective 01 July 2010, all foreign nationals passing through South Africa must possess a transit visa.   The transit visa has been reintroduced by the South African government for all non-visa exempt foreigners who proceed to South Africa for transiting purposes en route to neighboring countries.
